Renewal: From the Inside Out

Virginia Hanspiker, RMT, RPP

A Touch of Health is about living healthy through supportive choices, and narrowing the array of health products to a manageable and affordable selection.

Awareness of healthy living and feeling good helps us find the right amount of balance.

We all know good health is easier maintained than re-gained after we have reduced stamina, so articles are about supporting a strong foundation that doesn’t encourage disease.

It’s easy when we’re mindful of:

* inner cleansing: no point denying the value of detox!
* nutrient support to adjust deficiencies
* healthy eating: for tissue regeneration, function and vitality
* exercise … oxygenate tissues, promote flexibility and strength

Habits either support or sabotage health:

  • Awareness –  precedes improvement. It’s important in all areas that contribute balance to our life.
  • Nutrition: as the foundation of our health, rich nutrient uptake is vital. Nutrient deficiency is commonly linked to causing degenerative conditions. This category looks at supplement options, purifying food washes, organic versus conventional and similar topics.
  • Preventive or Self-care – although it’s a common term, self-care is a more empowering concept than preventive.Detoxification is the most potent action for recovery and maintenance of good health. Basic detox info is outlined with various methods.
Options for natural pain management,  immune system enhancers, iodine, and similar articles are in the self-care category.

The Health Topics left-side menu lists the articles in each health category.

Nothing is written here as advice:
It’s intended as a base for anyone wanting more control over their life. It’s written from education as well as personal life experiences, our best teacher.

Once you have a condition, using natural remedies will be safer and more effective when guided by a skilled health practitioner working in conjunction with your medical practitioner. Health, vitality and contentment, go together – and we all need a quota of beauty and fun in our lives. It’s sometimes a conscious choice.
